Most of our clients enjoy car hire with no deposit because they book our Ultimate package or purchase complete protection by choosing our SCDW in reception.  However if you have not booked our Ultimate package or purchased our additional Super Collision Damage Waiver (S.C.D.W.) directly with Drivalia (drivalia.es or at the rental desk), you will be required to leave a deposit of the amount of the car group excess which must be secured on the credit card (only VISA or Mastercard) of the main driver. The deposit amount depends on the vehicle type and ranges from 1000 – 3000 €. Virtual cards, Wallet cards, Apple Pay,  American Express & cash payments are not accepted.

Please note that we cannot accept deposits on credit cards that are not in the name of the main driver nor are we able to accept debit cards or pre-paid currency cards. If you have purchased an excess cover from another company you will still be required to leave a deposit of the amount of the excess as this is a separate contract between you and a third party. Virtual cards, Wallet cards and Apple Pay are not accepted.

Although in almost every case booking our Ultimate package or choosing SCDW cover removes the need for a deposit, we do always reserve the right to request a deposit for any reason at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to request a deposit in the case of the main driver being aged under 25 years old.  In some cases, a fuel deposit may be required. If you have any doubts please contact us to clarify this.

Please note that special groups, car models (e.g. Jeep Wrangler, Mustang, Maserati and similar) have special conditions regarding excess & coverage. The excess for these groups/models is 3000 Euros. By purchasing our SCDW cover or booking the Ultimate Package, the excess and deposit will be reduced to 900 Euros instead of zero which is the case for other groups.

All models shown by both Drivalia and third party agencies are examples (except for special models).  If you have a specific requirement please email us and we will always do our best to accommodate your needs.  We are unable to guarantee the exact model of car although we do guarantee that your car will be to the same size and specification of the example shown.

In the event of us not having your reserved group available we will always provide a car of a higher group at no additional cost to you.

Currently, we do not offer a one-way rental service between any of our Mobility Stores.

Upon arrival you will need to show your passport, a valid driving licence and a valid credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD only) all in the name of the main driver. Virtual cards, Wallet cards, Apple Pay,  American Express  and & cash payments are not accepted

Please note that a credit card will not be required if you have purchased our Ultimate package or our Leasys S.C.D.W. cover. This only applies to cover purchased on drivalia.es at the time of booking or at our rental desk.

We will also need to see the driving licence of any additional driver(s) although they do not need to be present.

The above are generally all that is required although in some cases we may need to see additional documentation such as your flight confirmations.

Our team will be monitoring your flight – so please ensure you have provided your correct flight number – and our aim is that the shuttle bus is waiting for you as you arrive at the meeting point or within a few minutes of your arrival.  At peak times our buses continually run back and forth so you should never be waiting more than a few minutes even at the busiest of times. It’s not necessary to phone the office to advise of your arrival, nevertheless, if you are in doubt of where to meet our bus or in the very unlikely event of you waiting over 15 minutes please do call us.
