How to find the Drivalia Mobility Store at Mallorca airport
On arrival at the Palma de Mallorca Airport terminal building and as soon as you leave the baggage collection area, exit into the Arrivals Hall. Proceed to the nearest lift and go up to the second (2nd) floor. Once you are on the second floor, exit the terminal building and turn right. Walk along the pavement, following the direction of the traffic, and cross the first pedestrian crossing which is between the gangway to the car park and the end of the terminal building. The complimentary Drivalia Mobility Store shuttle bus will meet you near the other side of that crossing and will promptly take you to our premises situated less than 2 miles away from the Terminal building. The shuttle service runs regularly throughout the day taking clients to and from the office and so if there is no bus on arrival don´t worry, it will be with you soon.
How to arrive at the Drivalia Mobility Store in Mallorca by car
– From Manacor MA-15, take exit number 10 in the direction of “PLATJA DE PALMA / SANT JORDI / AEROPUERTO”. At the roundabout, take the third exit in the direction of “PLATJA DE PALMA / SANT JORDI / AEROPUERTO”. Continue to always follow the indications to the airport at the next crossings, and at the roundabout of the Son Oms industrial estate, take the first exit towards the petrol station (Repsol) / Camí de Son Fangós. Our office will be located on your right hand side after around 200 metres.
– From Palma MA-19 take exit number 10 in the direction of “SON OMS /PLATJA DE PALMA/ MANACOR”. At the first roundabout, take the third exit towards the petrol station (Repsol) / Camí de Son Fangós. Our office will be located on your right hand side after around 200 metres.
As soon as you enter our facilities, please follow the instructions of the check-out staff to park the vehicle and for its subsequent inspection, handing over the keys to the indicated person, attaching the rental contract and the refueling ticket if necessary. If there is no Drivalia staff available at the time, please follow the directions to the return spaces duly marked on the floor of the field.
In any of the cases, or in case of returning the vehicle outside our opening hours, the instructions will be the same but the exact point of return will be at the facilities of our cooperator AIRPORT PARKING, located a few meters from the roundabout Son Oms main street, next to the ITV station.
Frequently asked questions about car hire
Palma de Mallorca
Upon arrival you will need to show your passport, a valid driving licence and a valid credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD only) all in the name of the main driver.
Please note that a credit card will not be required if you have purchased our Ultimate package or our S.C.D.W. cover. This only applies to cover purchased on drivalia.es at the time of booking or at our rental desk.
We will also need to see the driving licence of any additional driver(s) although they do not need to be present.
The above are generally all that is required although in some cases we may need to see additional documentation such as your flight confirmations.
Palma de Mallorca airport, San Joan, is located around 8km east from the historic city of Palma. Arrivals at Palma Airport
If you have booked a car with Drivalia, it's really simple to meet our shuttle bus service which will take you to our modern offices where your car is waiting. After collecting your luggage you will pass through to the arrivals hall where you need to make your way up in the lift to level two. There are several lifts inside the terminal building, but perhaps the easiest to find is just outside the building if you exit the arrivals hall through the doors near arrivals area C, just behind the “Meeting Point” and Airport information desk.
Once you have gone up to level two, walk in the direction of the traffic towards the end where there are parking bays and a barrier. Our shuttle bus will meet you in this area. You can find out more about our car hire from Palma airport here.
Departures from Palma Airport
At the end of your holiday, if you have hired a car from Drivalia, once you have returned the car to our facilities, our shuttle bus will promptly take you back to the meeting point which is outside the departures area.
After checking in your luggage, pass through the security checks and you will enter the departures lounge where you will find an array of shops and bars. Make sure that you check the screens regularly for information as to which boarding gate you need because announcements are not made over the loud speaker system for all flights.
